The first before and after is my favorite. Is this all from the same house? If so, I think I might prefer fewer different wall colors.

The glare from the lighting is rather distracting and makes it difficult to see the fixtures themselves. Try using a tripod and turn off the lights,

I don't understand the exercise but changing a room from a piano room to a dining room doesn't really allow a fair comparison of decorating. I prefer the wall color in the second image, but as a music room, it's terrible. :P On the other hand, the first one would be a pretty shabby dining room...

All of the transformations look great! For me the kitchen changes really highlight the beautiful cabinetry. Well done!

First pair... the second image (transformation). Second pair, the first/before for color and light but I'd use the artwork from the after. Third pair, the second image, but I am thinking I really hate the first artwork and that is the ONLY reason why. 4th pair , the second, transformative image. Fifth pair, hands down the first image. HANDS DOWN. (Okay, I am not fond of those pics to the left, but they are far enough out of the photo I can ignore them for the purposes of giving a response.)

I like the conversion of the music room to a dining room. I also like the change in your kitchen (especially the paint color and change in bar stools). However, I honestly prefer the "before" in the living room/family room. The before room looks more modern compared to the after room. I do prefer the painted wood trim on your stairs in the after picture, but I prefer the seating and wall art in the first one.

I should have clarified - the before pics are from the real estate listing when we bought the house. The after is with our furnishings, etc.

I think your afters look great...and it makes much more sense knowing that the “befores” are before you! I was really amazed at how someone could undergo a wholesale transformation...not only in all furnishings but also basic color tones and styles! Y’all did a LOT of painting and other work! What did you do to the kitchen cabinets? They look great without that orange tone!

We didn't do anything to the kitchen cabinets. I honestly think the blue walls brought out the orange in them. You know, the whole complimentary color thing.

Anyway, the people we bought our house from were awesome and they did make great choices that we love. However, it has been fun to put our own touches on this house. Like, I LOVE the color of my kitchen.
