Going to be 33* tonight. Still chilly- can't wait for next week. Jeff said a few weeks in May he would be gone. It's possible he could go last. But- that's up to him. I'll send the box off on Monday. And he can decide... Anyone can re-arrange the swap order. Cheryl is next for sure. Going to be so happy to get this box started and OUT/back on track.. and of my hands.

The box was mailed today/Monday! It's on the way to Cheryl. Tracking- 9505 5121 5031 8120 1288 45 it's scheduled to arrive on Wednesday!

I don't have any of the paperwork, it's in the package. So, Cheryl will have to check to see who's next- (and re-arrange the swap order if needed.) I did make a note on the paperwork to omit Jeff this time. Other than that- have fun with the RR! I hope it travels fast, without any glitches! Yay! The RR has started up again.

Stamik,,,,Big Bird says "everyone makes mistakes",,,,,. Live and learn. And hey, it did end well, it wasn't a total disaster except for the first few people. I don't think anyone is gonna penalize you.

Overall things worked out. We found where we have to improve and that is the important thing.

Count me in the RR too (new one) I'm not going anywhere this summer. We have 3 puppies, so I'll be busy with them. I want to fix up the landscape this year, and have a permanent screened in room built. So, I have a ton of plans. Lots of work, and cooking on the grill! Letting the dogs play for hours outside while I do things at night outside. Anyway, so glad this worked out so well! And the next one will be better, easier, hassle free! We just ran into some super cold temps! Summer's going to be warmer than normal, I have a feeling. Chicago totally skipped spring. I've had the heat on for several nights last week. And then open the windows during the day for fresh air! I'm so not ready for central air on yet! I love airing out the house for weeks! I hate being hot, so then I do give in and turn on the air eventually. But, I fight it, LOL! ;) I've been trading like crazy lately. So, I'll have a bunch of new stuff to add. :) If any of you are on facebook, friend me. And I'll add you to our group/AVround robins. We trade a bunch- do round robins and one to one trade boxes. Mention your garden web name so I know who you are. And mention if you were in the RR's so I know you traded before with me. Our group on AV round robins is closed. So, you have to be invited. We have an amazing group. So generous. But, of course we expect perfection with all our trades. Other than that- we have lot of fun talking about violets, etc. Deb Andruska on facebook. I sent a face book friend request. Can you send an invite to the Round Robin FB group? I was second from the last person in our round robin.

I should of explained it a little better. This group is amazing-and like an AV family, they send the best boxes. So we have it on invite only. You have to know someone, recommend them before they can be added. There is no drama there, just so many friends that talk about av's, and trades go on constantly. I run most of them, but others help too. I think we have 76 people. All reliable traders. Some don't participate as often as others. And some are super quiet. But, we have our regulars that make the forum so much fun. Cheryl was added last night, I added Joan today, Joan will be able to access the forum once Linda hits the approve button. We've been doing this for 4 years? I'm losing track of time. We built this group up slowly, and it started with me hosting the swaps on garden web and knowing that group of people that followed to facebook. Linda started the page on facebook. After that- anyone 'new' is recommended by someone. So that helps with us knowing that the 'new person' is sincere, honest- and will send good boxes. Previously, by just letting anyone in we had some people take advantage of our kindness and keep boxes or receive a box and NOT send out.

Several RRs, one on one swaps, secret trades, specific RRs (like all gessies, mixed AVs and gessies, all standards, all semi/minis, etc). Lots to choose from. I try to keep a list of what I sign up for. Heaven for AV traders!!!

Ok, Im back from my pilgrimage to the great white north. Bummer that I had to miss the RR. I definately want to be in on the next one, whenever it is.
