I'm going to add to the Well Being pics because it's such a fine rose...healthy, reblooms well, and has a fine fragrance.

Wow great pics of WELL BEING you two! I had it yrs ago in the upper fence bed in mostly shade. Did nothing for yrs. Dug out all the roses when we did the septic tank redo 3yrs ago, altho WB got left up there for an extra yr. Then I didn't get it out when we were up there setting up the chicken run because it finally got a nice bud on it and I wanted to let it bloom. Got a nice bloom on it and then when it was over with, I dug it up to plant in the new DA-style rose bed of yellow and apricots... Promptly died. I was pretty upset. Thankfully I was able to order my new one last yr from Heirloom when they had a sale on. Can't wait for my husband to finish getting the last tree trunk dug out so I can finish up that bed! I'll be anxious to see this rose take off and look like yours!!

Thanks, Beth. I have one that is getting shaded out by a river birch and a relatively new one in my front yard where I can enjoy it . The shaded one still blooms pretty well. That's nice your husband digs out tree trunks.

Erasmus--love your pics of Well Being. It is a handsome rose, isn't it. Mine also gets shaded by a river birch and doesn't bloom as much as I'd wish, but it does still bloom. Wish I had a sunny open spot I could move it to--though that might not work either, given your experience with moving it.

I do recommend Well Being to everyone. I especially like it when it gets some flushed edges--very rich looking appearance. Erasmus' pics show it off quite well, but here are a few I took that show that blended effect.

As it matures, it usually becomes completely yellow--and such an attractive "happy" shade of yellow.

Thanks, Kate. Lovely pics you have there.

I'm going to add my pictures of Wonderstripe because mine is consistently more pastel than Beth's. I like Beth's but I also like mine because I like a soft stripe. Mine gets afternoon shade so maybe that's why it is paler. Well, on second look it is not all that much different but maybe some.

Another thing about this rose is what a nice plant it makes. It made a fairly upright branchy plant about 4.5' tall in its second year. Reblooms very well. The first year it had a lot of bs , but the second year and afterwards it got little bs.

Here's my late cat for the "W's", Woodbaby. He was a great cat. My youngest son found him along with his beautiful long haired silver tabby brother in the woods on a very cold November day. When I first saw them I was shocked because they were so tiny. I knew they'd have to be bottle fed. So we bottle fed them for many weeks, and I guess that created a bond. He was a wonderful friend for about 16 years or more. I know some people think cats shouldn't be outside but being outside seemed like Eden to him. He loved it. His brother ran away and we looked for him for a year or so. We had Woodbaby neutered after that.

We named him Woodbaby because he truly was a babe in the woods, and because he was the color of leaves and sticks.

Love your WONDERSTRIPE!! And Woodbaby was a beautiful kitty!! Looks like he could've been a Maine Coon?

I don't think I've ever seen a Maine Coon in person but Woodbaby did look something like one, though maybe a little smaller. He was pretty big, and always welcoming to any other animal that came over. His brother was so beautiful, a lot like Woodbaby but silver with grey stripes. Now we have a little black cat, Charlene. My son , same son who found Woodbaby, found Charlene above a tire of our car.

Maine Coons are known to be dog-like in their friendliness and need for affection. :)

These roses are unbelievably lovely!!! Sigh :)

I can add a few of the "W" ones.

This first one is Windmill, a grandiflora that curls its petals over to look like a windmill in cooler weather.

This one is DA's Windrush. It actually usually does quite well, but keeping it deadheaded is critical to getting it to rebloom.

The last one is a rose that came from Pickering's, a hybrid tea called Wonderful. It is quite pretty, and I wish it were more available. Now with Pickering's basically out of the picture, I don't know if anyone else has this one. I hope you like these.

Bustopher, I love that WINDMILL. I've seen it on Hortico over the yrs, but never thought about ordering it. Looks like a pretty cool rose. And OMG don't you miss Pickering? Some of my best roses came from them. I don't remember seeing WONDERFUL on their website. Maybe I just wasn't looking for yellows tho. It's quite beautiful! I see it's a Poulsen rose. I love their roses!! Thanks for sharing these!!
