Make me modern?

Ive just purchased a ranch house built in 1969. It needs some curb appeal! You can barely see the front door...


Is there a way to make this house look more modern? Im looking for new paint colors and also suggestions on what to do with the faux brick siding (remove and replace with existing siding, or paint over it.


I will be replacing the roof shortly, so I have the opportunity to change everything. Please help
