Flooring Design Dilemma Kitchens

Help with Maple cabinets and flooring

We are currently remodeling a small, galley kitchen. Our cabinets will be getting custom made out of maple. I had originally planned on having them painted BM White Dove. I have been told by our contractor(my father)that it is stupid to paint a good wood like maple. We have already picked out and bought our floor. Will this match? Also, we were leaning towards Silestone Arctic as counter. Will this match. Please help! I have no design sense.

if you are painting wood, then of course, get paint grade wood to build your cabinets. why pay more for premium wood if you will be covering it with paint?

white goes with everything. if you want a white w/neutral undertones, use Simply White.

you will need to paint a sample and put it against the Silestone to see if the two white blends well together.
