Aroids and sansevierias are my forte but I grow a few hoyas. Yours looks like H. pubicalyx 'Pink Silver'. This is actually a rampant grower in the heat of summer, flowers are very dark pink and have a heavy, sweet fragrance.

Thanks, Russ. I am in a tropical climate ... Today's temp was 84F / 83% humidity. I water weekly, feed monthly. I've had it about 7 months and this hoya has done very little growing so far. Let's see what it does this summer. I will update if it blooms.

I agree that it's probably one of the pubicalyx cultivars, but I'm not sure about it being 'Pink Silver.' Mine has much heavier flecking:

Thank you for the prelim ID pubicalyx ... That's correct in terms of the leaf. Denise is right in terms of mine having far less variegation than hers. Mine is just minutely speckled. As far as I know, the blooms are similar to those of "Pink Silver." We'll see.

Well it IS growing, just not as fast in comparison to my Australis. It was a rootless cutting, so I imagine it needed time to adjust. Substrate is very loose and fast-draining ... It's what I use for my adeniums, plumeria, orchid cactus cultivars. I have basically adopted it for all my C&S because it doesn't remain excessively wet and allows the roots to move and breathe. Every climate and growing culture is different and this substrate works very well for me here.

Le's wait until it blooms and I'll post pictures of it in bloom. Then we can do a better job of IDing it. Thanks for your help.
