I'm not sure they are stoneware - they may be earthenware which is inferior. But as I won't be leaving them outside in the freezing winter months, that isn't a big deal. The real key note with adeniums and ceramic pots is NOT to leave them enclosed in the pot too long that their swelling roots burst it. That's a real issue with adenium and more upright, deeper pots particularly, which have no give like a plastic pot. In that case it doesn't matter what the pot is made out of, if they are in there too long they get stuck and the the pot may have to be broken to get them out, or they'll burst it on their own. So a wide, shallow pot is much better.

Nice looking pots. Should look very nice with adeniums in them.
