Mounting mirror

I like the look of the mirror between tile panels. I plan to do that with a 1/2 inch thick stacked stone wall tile. Do you install the mirror first and then run the tile up to it? In my case the mirror will probably end up being recessed and I'm wondering how that will look.

Thanks for the question. In the above installation, stainless steel 'c' channels were installed at the top and bottom of where the mirror would go prior to the tile (first) and mirror (last). This provided a very clean edge to tile up to, and a perfectly square rectangle for the mirror. I hope this helps.
