Yes, I have woes...surprisingly enough.
This was a particularly fierce winter for us (about a week with nights in the 1-5 range), and low teens as late as 1.5 or 2 weeks ago.
I'm blaming those cold snaps on aborted crocus blooms. Many corms didn't produce any flowers, and about half of those that did, the stem just below the petals was dead.
Anyone noticed that before? I've never seen it. Btw, I have a few hundred crocus of differing species, all seem to have been affected by it to some extent.
Botanical tulips and daffodils seem unaffected, but the tulips at least were safely underground during most of it (if not all).
