Could this utility sink be installed under a granite counter?

    Hello,

    This sink is designed to fit on top of a counter top, not underneath it. That being said, it wouldn't be impossible to do. You, or your contractor, may have to get a bit creative during the installation, though. Also, unlike sinks designed for the underneath installation, the final product may not be perfectly flush with the bottom of the counter-top.     Also consider the weight of a (plastic) utility sink filled with water. If you were to retro-fit a drop in sink and decided to go under mount.?....yes we do crazy things like this... That sink must be supported at the bottom. A fixed structural shelf must be installed by an experienced cabinet maker to handle the weight. Sounds crazy? But I have done some interesting things in my day.
