How would you arrange the sofa and two chairs?

Try the sofa facing the fireplace with a chair on either side of the sofa facing each other, or both chairs where the shorter side of the sectional is. I would look for a very clean line for sofa and chairs -- not the overstuffed look.

I want to do slipcovered sofa and chairs but not sure on the color

I don’t know your budget, nor if this is your forever house. If it were my home. I would have the entire brick wall framed and sheet rocked (leaving the fireplace in the design) and get the t v on that wall.

I would mount the tv on the brick wall but beside the fireplace box not above it.

whitewash the brick. Try a wall unit to put the tv in. Replace large furniture with sleak, contemporary sofa and 2 chairs.

I would put the T.V to the side of the fireplace not above it and no mantel on the fireplace at all. I like the fireplace brick so not interested in changing that IMO. A sofa and 2 chairs as mentioned for set up

I am needing help on where exactly you would put the sofa and two chairs seeing how it is a bigger more narrow space

You’re too late... i just gave away a fixture similar to the jet stream on free cycle. Installed by the PO of my house.

i would’t Cover or paint or whitewash the brick. Tv to the side of the FP or where it is now. Can you fit a sofa that faces the tv on the end wall? With two chairs facing the fp?
