Is this a new build or a renovation?

    A renovation

Can you show a floor plan so we can see how the interior relates to the exterior? It would be easier to help if we can see the interior.

Also what are you willing to change? Windows? Siding? That overblown porch roof?

Yes, but don’t want to spend so much

Why did you start a new thread? People were trying to help you on the old one...

    What old one

You need an architect. You won’t be able to make the changes needed to fix this for less than $50k. Who designed this house?

    A builder

    A builder and architect

You need to change the windows, the roofline, and the size of the pillars to fix this. It will be costly. You’ll need an architect.
Sorry but BS. If there was an architect behind this plan I’ll eat my shorts.

Well can u maybe show me a picture

How much do you think it would cost to build a brand new house

Well how much did it cost to build this one?

    325000

    But was a renovation

This looks like a new build to me... it was a renovation? What did it look like before?

I'm sorry to say, but this house is so mis-proportioned, poorly organized and just plain ugly that there's nothing to "improve" it, short of a major tear down and remodel. My best constructive advice is to buy several hours of an experienced and creative architect's time, to come and meet with you on site and discuss various options. I'd start by tearing down the pretense of a front porch and the thing pretending to be a garage. After that, I'd work out an entirely new plan for all windows.

    Good luck on your project!

Start over. With a different concept. This will never be Tara. Burn that out of your brain entirely. It ain’t Tara.

It might possibly be an asymmetrical Modern Design with a lot more work and removal of the tumors.

groveraxle made a good start on one of your earlier threads that you've forgotten about.

What exatly was the beginning to this? What home stood in that spot before someone hacked it up? What renderings or plans did your, cough, architect, show you that showed this as the result?

I'm dying to know why you happily paid someone 325K to vandalize your house. And why you are surprised at the results.

If an architect and builder can respond to this: how much will it cost to build a brand new house in Atlanta Georgia

I am not a pro, just a thought. Keep the 4 posts in the front, add on 1st floor patio and 2nd floor deck, a French door on each side of entrance opening to the patio and upper deck...,,,,

    Picture please

Whenever I see a poster who refuses to respond in a complete sentence, I move on. This poster won't even expend the effort to write more than his 1 or 3-word responses. Plus he already took up people's time in the post that Briana linked above, so why are you all expending time on him, again?

You have [47 replies on your post on the same subject two days ago in Design Dilemma[(https://www.houzz.com/discussions/the-front-of-the-house-bland-to-me-what-can-i-do-to-make-it-better-dsvw-vd~5181539). You don't really expect anything new or different here, do you?

If an architect and builder can respond to this: how much will it cost to build a brand new house in Atlanta Georgia

You can't expect to solicit local architects and builders in this forum, they're just not here. And your problem is local. Go to the Houzz listings for architects and builders in Atlanta and make a list. Then ask them, whether you're talking about a new house or a remodel to the old one. Any who give you an estimate without coming to take a look at the house, inside and out, you can strike from your list.

If you go with a remodel, you -- and any architect and builder involved -- shouldn't make any changes to the exterior without taking the interior into account. And vice versa.

Internet Syndrome. Don’t you know that you don’t have to actually DO anything. All you have to do is google someone to do all of the work for you.

Which is the before and which is the after photo? I enjoy that the hose and the palette of building materials haven't moved in either photo. That's progress...! :-)
