paint choices for open floor plan

Currently the living room is Sherwin Williams Basket Beige and the dining room, foyer, family room and kitchen are Sherwin Williams Macadamia. I want to continue with this pallet with some changes.
We are installing engineered hardwoods that are a warm brown as pictured through out the first floor.
I am considering Sherwin Williams Softer Tan for the family room and kitchen (northern exposure). It is a center hall colonial with the foyer leading into the family. The foyer opens to the second floor. I would like to paint trim color below the chair rail in foyer and continue around in the dining room..
What color for living room and dining room (above chair rail) Macadamia or Basket Beige?
