Living room help

Hi all,

I've had good luck posting on here for help so far (thank you everyone) so I figured I'd try again . My boyfriend and I bought a condo and I'm HORRIBLE (I mean it..so bad) with interiors. I want everything to be pretty neutral, and we are staining the floors a medium dark brown and bought the attached couch and chairs.

I think we are going to have the couch facing the FP and a chair on either side. We also will not have a kitchen table like it is staged. My next dilemma is finding a coffee table, end tables and a rug. I am so bad with colors... and am nervous my style of coffee table I like may be too modern for the space? I am going to paint the kitchen/mantle white, so they won't be that yellow wood color. The floors again will be darker walnut, and the wall the same gray for now.

Any suggestions? I like those rugs that are in ( kind of like attached) but is this too much gray/white? Would be open to suggestions.. the only thing I am not a fan of is extreme patterns on area rugs (like zig zag, chambray, etc). Also like a diverse taste of coffee tables. I tend to gravitate towards gold legs or something a little more trendy, but am trying to stay away from trendy and more towards traditional.

Thanks so much in advance. Open to any ideas! Interiors are not my strong suit :)
