Gonna need more than a fireplace and a TV bigger than it is for that. You don’t actually need a fireplace at all. De clutter. Get rid of the ceiling fan and add some light to the room as a good start. Then some grown up people furniture.

Lower that TV NOW. That’s a chiropractic visit waiting to happen. And get in an ekectrician to add outlets so you dont have cords draped everywhere. That is hugely dangerous as both a trip hazard and a fire hazard.

The rest still needs to happen as well. Plus bye bye carpet.
