Gutters: Regular or Euro?

Euro gutters would suit our build aesthetic much more, but they are $5K vs $2K for regular gutters. Is there any other reason to consider them over regular gutters?

Better longevity? Better seals? Water flow? Right now, I can't justify the premium.

We have copper gutters on the front and garage (three sides) but regular gutters on the back. You cannot see both at same time. Two gutter companies that did bids, and our builder, said with the length and steep pitch of the back roof rain would go so fast off the roof, a lot of rain would go right over the half round gutters. We opted for round downspouts everywhere, and this helps kick it up a notch in the looks department.

I say go for it. Especially if it fits your build aesthetic.

Love the 1/2 rounds, more money and skill, more with exterior brackets...if I call them "Euro" are they nicer?, OG look great for less budget.... can we outlaw extruded aluminum with the damn reinforcement ribs please? Round downspouts look great and bigger 3" round self clean better.

We paid the price and never regretted it, so many people comment on how beautiful they are. We went with a tuxedo grey the same color we had our facia boards painted.

Oh right we choose them for all the reason you listed, moves more water, better quality longer lasting etc, but they look amazing

They look nice. I was thinking about it but a few thousand here and a few thousand there...pretty soon you're talking real money!

Though I did not get them in the end...I dont really miss them at this point.

OG Gutters is essentially another name for K style Gutters. The face of the GUtter makes a shap that resembles a roman ogee.
