Help With Awkward Bathroom Layout

We'll be doing a remodel of our master bathroom this year--it's a 1977 center hall colonial. The current layout is pretty awkward, I think the half walls indicated in the layout below used to be full walls and the previous owners took out the door separating the shower from the second vanity.

I'd like to move some things around and make a more natural layout, but not sure what might work. Looking for some ideas. I've attached an initial thought. Also what professional could help with this? We finished our basement 2 years ago, and we asked all the contractors if they had designers we could work with. They all said yes, but the people we picked weren't as helpful as I was hoping. I was really looking for someone who would give us designs for the layout based on the space and our needs. They mostly showed us the options they had for tile, carpet etc, and didn't help with the layout. Who should I be hiring or asking for that?

Potential Idea:

Maybe swap the door for mini french doors? Not sure if that would be annoying. Thinking about putting a thin built in between the toilet and the door to give some privacy to the toilet. But maybe with see through shelves to keep it from feeling closed in.
