Hello again

Haven't been here in awhile. Last time I was still living in my one bedroom, 700 sq ft apt. Due to my health, I have now moved in with my daughter. It is a large master bedroom, just off the kitchen, which is convenient. Here are some photos to show what can be done in a one room situation like mine.

the door is the entry from the kitchen. The photos follow a circle around the room.

I blocked the door leading to a hall and other bedrooms.

the door on the right leads to a dressing room and walk-in closet.

moving around now to the wall my bed is on

the door on the right leads to my bathroom. The rock wall you see is a fireplace. Which I have blocked with my t.v. as I won't be using it.

we've come full circle, the doorway on the right, leads to kitchen.

Not a lot of sq ft, but as you can see it is comfy and takes care of my needs.

love all the space set up for you! and i want that table at the end of your bed...

I don't use my fireplace either. That'd be dangerous for me. I don't even use real candles anymore - don't trust myself (or the dog).

That's a great room you have - space for you to be alone, read, watch TV, nap etc. I do have an electric fireplace - heater in my bedroom, with a remote control. That's my style these days.

I was able to use most of my furnishings and decor items in the space. Only thing new I added upon moving in was a small fridge.

Beautiful! Now that's how to combine a TV and a fireplace! Great idea., lol.

Nice work decorating. It's very pretty.

Wow, you've done a lot with that space. Have you considered drapery to cover the door you've blocked off? Thinking that would 'backdrop' your sofa and make the room feel 'complete'.

Mary Snobelen, at first i thought of several eays to camouflage the door. Truth is it isnt noticed except for when you enter the room. So I've just not bothered with itm
