I'm in Sarasota, Florida, I believe its zone 10.

I brought mine here from NY, used to grow them in pots in NY.

Put them in the ground and they took off. That was 7 years ago. I've taken cuttings from them over the years and they root in the sandy soil here.

We've had temps as low as high 30's and it never bothered them. We've never had a frost.

I see so many Plumies all over Florida. I think you'll be pleasantly surprised. Plant them in the ground and forget about them!

Thank you for that! I think Punta Gorda is a bit warmer, but similar to Sarasota and that’s where we are looking.
