Your first question should be, what is the style of your bathroom and how do you want your fixtures to integrate with the surroundings. Start with a rain shower you like. There is a high chance the rain shower head will be offered in a full suite of fixtures.

Don't be afraid to look at better priced shower heads. I found a very nice, modern Grohe (or Hans Grohe, can't remember which) and it wasn't very expensive (can't remember the cost, but under $200?)
