any odd habits i should know?

Is this a good set up for rooting in a zip lock?

That’s pretty much how I do mine, fast draining soilless potting blend and a drip tray. I’ve started using plastic pots because I don’t like the way the roots can cling to the inside of the clay. I put rocks on the top of my potting medium because it’s really light and fast drying, it helps the cutting stay in place and adds a little more moisture. If you’re using regular potting soil I wouldn’t worry about the rocks.

I haven’t attempted a Genieve cutting yet... but it seems really care free and fabulous! I’ve had it for about a year. I water once a week. East filtered sun.

soil with pearlite, unfortunately the little clay pot is all i have in that size... i wasnt expecting genieve lol, good idea with the rocks, i'll see what i can find

I wouldn’t worry about bagging it. The leaves look like they’re in good and hydrated shape. Good luck!
