Looking for help with wall decor.

I am attaching two pictures - one of a kitchen wall and the second of a wall hanging. I feel I need to have more on the Wall than just the single piece, but have no idea how to coordinate pieces. I appreciate all ideas.

FYI, the paint color is a deep yellow and the wall hanging is blackish metal with gold on the tips.

I think you can try it on that wall-it seems light, will take just a smaller nail or two?

but if you decide to go for it-I wouldn't leave it there alone. It somehow begs to be part of some composition. Not other art next to it, but something on the floor beneath it. You say a console wouldn't work-then I'd look into something like a planter with a well, plant, in the corner, or a little chair/stool with couple of books on it, for example. A floor lamp. If you don't want to leave that wall bare, and are hesitant about different art for it-I think it'll need some neighbors. But put on different levels. Giving you this feeling of changing height a bit, so the eye travels.

So I'd try it, and put some prop on the floor-something not too bulky-just to see whether it's something that might work. And then if you decide that's something that you like, you can think what actually might make sense next to it, while being pretty and hopefully useful at the same time.

I like most metal, but this one looks a bit like a spider web perhaps. Show us the rest of the room.

I'd put a console table underneath it, with a lamp and a bowl. And then hang a big piece of art on the wall to the right.

The first picture is the other side of my kitchen. The second picture is the opposite wall from the original picture.

I don’t want a console table because the opposite wall has a buffet.

I would think you would want some nice, colorful artwork, for all those big walls. That's what I would be looking for.

I agree about the art and plan to take the mirror over the buffet down and replace with art. But, what I am really looking for is advice on how to use the metal piece on the other wall. Is that metal piece enough alone, or do I need to incorporate other pieces? If so, what?
I am bad at decorating:(

In that situation, I would like to hang it up there, and see how it goes.

If it looks too small, you can hang it over toward the right edge of the wall you showed up there, and put 2 smaller framed art pieces on the left, to fill up the space.

I wouldn't overthink things. With that much bare space, you just need to "move in", and by that I mean start to hang up your stuff. Are you just moving in? Do you need ideas on where to look for inexpensive frames/art, etc?

It might be helpful, and perhaps more people will chime in, if you stand back, and take a photograph of the wall in question, including in the photograph as much as you can show. That will give folks an idea of the scale of the wall, compared to the piece you have.

Nota fan. Agree that it has the look of a spider web.

Do you like pressed metal wall art?
