Thanks guys. I was beginning to wonder if it was going to make it. It hadn't grown any since I got it. The new leaves are so tiny, I thought at first that some trash had fallen on it, then I realized it was new growth. Lol!

Alanna, the leaves are so red! I have wanted one of these for a long time. I bought some of the fruit from Shanley Farms in California last year, but honestly they weren't quite ripe, but I loved the taste. I just hope it does well, and I don't kill it!

Congrats on the finger lime growth! I know it took months before my Australian red center lime (which is a hybrid of the finger lime) put out some new growth and the sprouts are tiny. But once it grows a little bigger, you do see that the new growth is reddish, which is a pretty contrast to the dark green leaves.

kcandmllo, I am keeping a close eye on it. I don't know if it is old enough to bloom this year, but I will keep my fingers crossed! It is on sour orange root stock, don't know if that will effect it in any way or not. While researching it's care, I read that in Australia they are mostly grafted on Flying Dragon root stock.

kcandmllo, I hope mine does as well as your's and everyone else's. i can hardly wait to taste a fully mature fruit. I love reading about everyone's successes.
