Need advice with after grafting root stalk growth

The graft was done on March 6, it was my first graft ever I used grafting tool that I got of the Internet, it was working for me pretty good.

It looks like the scion was accepted by root stack these is today's picture

the problem is that the root stalk is really traing to grow branches I already cut a few of them.

I would like to keep that one brunch on the root stalk but I am not sure if it will take energy that is sapose to go in scion

Will the scion be okay with that side bud opening on root stalk ? Or should I cut all the new brunches that are traing to grow on root stalk ?
