My new little condo has great cupboards that I'm keeping white, but as I go to replace the countertop, what should I do with this little breakfast nook? Is it a breakfast nook? Should I run the cupboard to the wall and then extend the little slightly elevated piece to make a small eat in or work area? Or should I just eliminate this elevated lip altogether? And you're right, the dated yellow countertop is quite ugly :-)
