It's a cute little desk....why not in the guest room? or the kitchen? anywhere you could use a small place to put a lamp and a desk.

I think it would be handy in a small entry - purse, mittens, car keys, outgoing mail.

Been thinking about this for a day or so. Seems to me the best use would be to paint it to suit a tweener girl and put it beside her bed for her to use to squirrel away all those knickknacks young ladies collect and store.

In DF's family room/man cave, next to his favorite chair; great place to hide all the remotes & stuff that sits on the coffee table.

It was intended to be a desk, so the cubbies could hold the stapler and tape, so you can just pull them out and use. And a tray, maybe, w/ stamps or something. Stationery.

So you can pay bills or write quick notes.

Alternately, maybe a lunch-packing station. With napkins, silverware, paper bags, etc., in the cubbies, and you can rest the lunch bag on the temporary table.

Think of anything you do somewhat regularly that you need a temporary workspace for (the fold-down front).

Or a computer stand, for the laptop?

I would set it next to the end of the couch where I usually sit in the evenings and stuff it full of my own books, crafts, magazines, etc.

It's REALLY cute!
