We just bought a new house with maple/cherry cabinetry and a large sunroom off to the side (pic below). The kitchen table needs to go in the sunroom, which has nice reclaimed beams up top and is framed by windows with four large skylights up top.

My question is - what kind of dining/kitchen table would you put here? Our current furniture is a mix of modern/midcentury or transitional. We were leaning towards a reclaimed wood table with metal legs, but also love the idea of a midcentury modern table. We have children so a glass table is not desirable. Mainly we don't know what kind of style to pick here. The rug would be a black and white one with some sort of stripe and we would use the eames-looking dining chairs, perhaps in navy and in white.
