Salvia microphylla 'Royal Bumble'

I grew it out from a seed started January 4, 2018. This week it began blooming. I am hopeful hummingbirds find it irresistible.

If the hummers like it as much as I do, they'll be all over it :-) What a pretty clear red!

My jaw dropped wide open and wouldn't close on seeing these flowers! I was very fortunate to get a seed to germinate from almost decade old seeds. Thanks for your kind comments, PKponder!
