Red maple choices for Nebraska zone 5 ?

So I am looking at my options for planting a maple shade tree in ground, and of those available through Mulhalls are; burgundy belle, red sunset, and fire fall.

We’re thinking that it’s best to be getting a tree of decent size, not a stick with a few leaves on it, but when would the best time for planting it be? It’s not quite done snowing here if you believe the weather forecast and we don’t want to lose an expensive (comparatively) tree by planting it when it’s heating up.
