Hello! I've installed this on the floor of a bathroom, it's had to be ripped up because the edges were too sharp and hazardous to walk on. Have you had issues with the product before or did the shipment we received somehow the edges were too rectified? Is there a particular way to prep the floor before hand that should have happened?

Any information would be helpful!
