Zone 6, Rhode Island. My backyard has grass but pretty sparse and mixed with weeds. Lots of scattered soil patches. I want to put down clover seeds. How soon or late should I be doing this ? Do I need to cover the seeds with soil, or just press into soil ? Does it need to be watered daily (by hand with hose ok? I don’t have sprinkler )?
