Here is my house and that same white stuff. We have about 50 cm snow still, but we now have warmer and snow is starting to melt.

Lots and lots of snow. We just got a dusting last week. When does the snow finally go away in your area?

I didn't mean to scare you. But unfortunately we get snow up until early May. But not like this.

It's melting!!! I can see outside, somewhat. Almost a foot down.

It drifts a lot here. I live close to the Bay. This is my house. The house with the yellow door , is Serena's-(BD girl)

Eventually, it will be all gone. Soon, I will be looking at my cuties emerging from their sleep and in the meantime, I get to enjoy all your Hostas.

A good example of that is Dave's Empress Wu. I am still dizzy from looking at it.

Amazing amount of snow. I do like snow but mid May is a bit beyond what I like.

That window photo is amazing. I remember in childhood, we had one winter lots of snow and you couldn't see outside. Your friends house and snow looks like fairy tale. Glad to hear that melting has started.

it was so windy this weekend. I thought my house was going to blow away into the Bay. That's right right out into the Atlantic.....On a big Iceberg. Good News! Gazebo still standing!! No snow for this girl.

Scary snow. Hope you have a roof rake and didn't get ice dams, also that you get warmer weather. On the plus side, the hostas must love the insulation and the moisture from all that snow.

MadPlanter, I take comfort in knowing they are safe and waiting patiently to show up later on in the spring.

I will take my snow over your frosty nights. I think that it is very hard work for those peeps that have to cover and nurture their hostas so early in the season.

Shadow, I totally agree snow is better than frost. I just don't have enough boxes, etc to cover everything so I am glad that just one hosta has sent up pips as of yesterday.
