So....I was just going to the grocery store and had to pass the nursery section. Hoya Wayetii was just hanging there all alone. I put her in my cart so I could talk to her while I was shopping. When it came to check out, she wouldn't get out of my cart! I didn't want to make a scene, so I brought her home. I hope she will be happy living in my classroom with all the noisy children. I do have a huge wall of windows, so the sunshine should keep her happy. We also don't have air conditioning, so I'm sure the 90 degree days that are sure to come will be the perfect place for her. 23 sweaty 10-year olds make the classroom feel like a greenhouse. Anything is better than that ol' grocery store. Phew! Another plant rescue!

P.S. Lowes had a tri-color and a bilobata, but they had a few friends hanging with them for company so I didn't feel compelled to rescue them.
