Does anyone else have a Trompenburg Japanese Maple? Almost all photos I have seen show the curled leaf that makes it stand out as a specimen, but mine only looks like that briefly in the spring. I assume that this is normal, but I’m surprised that this information is not provided anywhere I can find on line or in Vertrees’s book. Hopefully someone else can share their experience with this tree.
