Wow, I'm jealous. Well grown and beautiful. Those are some of the hardest ones to grow. At least for me.

Thank you Stush !! Sansevierias are with me for over 20 years. I rather do not have any problems with them except ... reversion :) Last year I bought a beautiful specimen S. t. 'Wagner's Gold', but now I see leaves similar to the usual S. t. Laurentii. Maybe a long journey and a colder climate at my place hurt them :)

I'm a old man with 40 years with sans. Last 10 years here where I learned most of what I know. I see a lot of early pups with little to no variegation but latter develops it on newer leafs from old growing nodes. Mostly in Gold Flame. What soil and practices do you do? I'm still looking for the best soil types.

I have the golden and also the Marginata. Would love a Silver. Very nice.

Stush - you have a lot of knowledge, which I use here - and thank you for sharing it !! And you should rather give me advice, because I'm still learning them :) At first (20 yers ago) I used ordinary, universal, slightly loose ground, and I still use it for some of the most popular specimens. But some prefer the substrate for succulents for succulents with perlite and gravel. It all depends on the species and on whether the plant is young or grown.

People talk a lot but you walk the walk. That's some great plant growing. You need to teach us! I put you in with Chris and Mike.

I see a more humus base soil mix. That's what I'm switching to. Also you water them from the bottom tray? I know that's best but I still water from the top. Trying never to get water into the crown. I keep a straw handy to blow any debris out of the crowns.

Ewa, You don't have a Sans trifasciata Futura 'Asahi' (Morgenstern's Futura Aurea)?

I have registered for this forum because you have accumulated a lot of knowledge here, and I willingly use your advice. I'm far from the teacher, I'm still learning. From what I read, in every region of the world is used a different mixture for these plants, and in my part - Poland, Krakow :) very often used such a mix as mine - substrate for succulents, simple substrat, vermiculite / perlite, gravel, mashed brick (it's my patent) - all in 1: 1: 1: 1: 1 proportions. It has been working for me for almost 20 years and plants grow well in this mixture. Unfortunately, I don't have S. t. 'Morgenstern's Futura Aurea'. In size M :) I only have 'Golden Flame', 'Golden Futura' and 'Wagner's Gold'. I will surprise you but also water from the top. I've small flat and pots have very small bottom trays :)

What a shame I can't send you any. Chance of you receiving it is 80/20 against you. Some odd reason, this plant loves me. Keeps reproducing pups and has a huge leaf cluster. Wished all my sans grew this way for me.

I am even more sorry that I don't live closer because 'Morgenstern's Futura Aurea' is unattainable in my region :( Your specimen is beautiful !! I know what you are talking about - some species grow better with us and some worse. My favorite is 'Golden Hahnii'. In less than 2 years it has grown very well, it is quite stable, but last year produced 2 albinos (not survive)
