Hallway Decor Advice Needed!

I'm trying to figure out what to put on the walls in this hallway leading from the front of the house back to our great room. It pretty long and not narrow, but definetly not wide. Any suggestions? Thanks

Nothing. You're going to end up with shoulders bumping picture frames. Except in a wide hall, leave the walls blank.

Explanation of pictures: #1 is hallway from den leading to long hallway when turning right

#3 is long hallway. the other side of the wall has a pantry, so no need for wall decor there.

How wide are your hallways? I haven't knocked into wall art in any house, and I've spent a lot of time in older homes, which are often scaled smaller than average.

I would hang art. Whatever that is to you. Textiles, paintings, photographs. Your entry is an introduction.

What about hanging tapestries? That way if anyone bumps into them they are just cloth.

And they add a lot of color.

I like family picture galleries down hallways like this. It's usually a little more private space that guests don't see as much. Matching frames and mats will help it all go together. Color pictures will make it a bit more eclectic, whereas B&W will be calmer.
