I have a Shiranui-Dekopon-Sumo tree coming in the mail next week free Harris the I intend on planting in the ground. I know a number of folks on the forum have grown this variety successfully over the years and I'm wondering if there is anything special about growing this variety? In looking online, there are some articles stating that this variety in particular required somewhat unique treatment to be productive commercially, and am wondering if anybody run into unique challenges growing it in their backyard compared to other citrus they've grown.
