The problem with choosing colors on line is you have no way of knowing whether they work in your space .

Commit to one thing you love for the room. It can be a pillow, a throw, art on the wall, lamps, end tables, a rug, or sofa, but commit and stay committed, then move on from there and decide what looks great with what you have committed to....the first choice will dictate where you shop and then go from there.....

When I purchased my house 3 years ago, I started my living room decor with the 2 sofas I purchased at over 60% Off! Then, I started furnishing the room with pieces that went well with the sofas, carpet, and silvery gray paint I put on the walls. I did get some great ideas when it came to creating the gallery wall in my living room here on Houzz and Pinterest. I looked at hundreds of photos to get an idea how I wanted mine to look. I get ideas online all of the time but as for colors, they come from colors I love and what colors my items already have in them.
