Yes, I'd say so. It looks fairly normal to me but yours may be stretching towards the light a bit because it's indoors. They're quite hardy.

Do you mean it had babies around the base and you just detached them? That would explain why it now has space at the bottom and the leaves are angling themselves to fill in that newly cleared space in order to maximise their light gathering surface area. Perfectly normal.

Sempervirens is commonly called hens and chicks, referencing the offshoots around the mother plant. It likes sharp drainage.

Hen & Chicks over winter outside even here in the Frozen North, where it is currently snowing. (Yeah, even our earliest plants are still mostly asleep.) They are one of those plants that as long as they have adequate light and drainage, they need little care or fussing. It has been my experience that such self-reliant plants resent extra fussy care. Outside of weeding and perhaps removing dead leaves and watering if really hot/dry, these guys need nothing from you to do well.
