Black counters, white cabinets.

Adjoining family room with white mantled fireplace.

Adjoining light yellow living room.

Rich brallian redwood floors, wide white baseboards.

I'm thinking the darker color for the kitchen to balance out the B&W, a lighter color in the family room, but dark enough to show & hold its own against the mantle and floors.
