Are they selling the barn or it's contents? In the grand scheme of things....100 years isn't very old for lots of things.
If it's an auction, besure you examine the merchandise carefully before you bid and set your top price when you are looking and don't go higher.

It was an add on craigslist and they didn't say whether it was an auction or not. I don't even have much money and I'm only going to bring about 60 bucks. I figure if anything Ill just get to look at some cool stuff. And I'm definitely going to look around on the ground for coins!

Why would I want a tape measure?

I am guessing they are auctioning off the barn!

OK so I went there. Kinda weird but I feel like they were just a little deceptive about the barn. It was more just like a garage sale of old stuff. I was expecting some dusty ol' barn packed full of junk.

But there was some cool stuff there. I will take a few more pics later but here is a sewing pouch I got for a dollar.

The zipper is branded "Zipp" and also marked with D.R.P. and Nurnberg.

From what I understand it is German and the D.R.P. stands for Dutchess Reich Patent. So the is probably from before the end of WW2.

I really wish I knew it's story. I forgot to ask the lady selling it.

O yeah it was cool. I'm pretty stoked about this leather sewing pouch! I also got a few cane chairs that need repairing so that will be a fun project!

Here's a close up of the edge of the underside.

This is the only thing that could be a makers mark but it could be an accident. Either way it doesn't say much.

#2 - Same design as the first chair, but I think they did some repairs to it. On the underside there are two pieces of wood where the front legs attach to the seat that are not on the first chair. There is also a mark on the underside of the number 94.

It has some kind of finish that the first chair doesn't have and I'm wondering if there is a way to remove the finish because it''s peeling off on the front of the seat where you thighs rub on.

Here you can see the part where it looks like they made a repair possibly.

And here's the only mark on this chair.

Chair #3- This chair is smaller so maybe it was for a youngster?

Unfortunately a crack in one of the back rungs.
