As to the odds on the other baby plant, there is no telling; you'll have to wait and see. As much as we love these wildly patterned and fantasied AV's, they surely can be a frustrating roll of the dice when propagating, can't they?

I am thinking for a new home for it. Sometimes it seems the simplest way is to toss.

It's so very pretty! Hopefully it finds a new home. I do understand the dilemma; when space is at a premium one sometimes has to make the hard decisions.

Mine is sporting a bit too. If it goes the rest of the way, I intend to keep it. I also wonder if there is not some way to induce the plant to revert back to its previous characteristics? Probably not but Im going to look into it.

Yes, looks like Cora, which for me is difficult to maintain. Mine turned all white. Blue-purple is a genetic parent of white. Joanne

Thanks for the offer! I am going to keep it for a while since the bloom seems to be stand up firmly like Cora and I lost my Cora. The babies from the Cora leaves you gave me are still small. Anyway I have 2, so one of them will be tossed to you:)
