Have never seen the cold deform leaves on our fig tree's in all the years your pictures displays FmV on plant.

Chewing bugs can make fig leaves look odd and then quickly brown where eating occurs on ,looking at fig leaf in your hand the vein bending is actually deformed as well as leaf itself along with some bubbling of the leaves .

The cupped areas on the leaves could be a symptom of 2-4,d exposure. Has anybody been getting after the dandelions? Weed and feed or spray?

We haven’t applied anything this year. We do live on a slopes street with about 7 houses that would have runoff come through our yard. So maybe that could be it if there is some chemical affecting growth?

at this point anything I can do? Or just keep watering and hoping for best?

It comes into the plant through the foliage. 2, 4-d and dicambra both have a capability to form a vapor the day or 2 days after being sprayed. It's not the actual spray drifting, but a vapor is released later when the temperature changes and dew evaporates. The vapor will rise and drift sometimes as much as a mile or more. This long distance drift would only happen after large scale spraying like a farm. Not some yard a couple of blocks away. But your yard or your neighbor's yard. And there are other chemicals like pre-emergants that are taken up through the roots. If it didn't kill the plant, it will likely recover. Or it could be something else.

Thanks for additional info. We live in middle of surburbia, but also have lots of agriculture close by and lots of green spaces. I’m not entirely what all they do to maintain the green spaces.
