Yes, there is. In the search box at the top of the House page, where it says "Search in GardenWeb" type in "alfalfa sansevieria" and if you have option, limit the search to the Sansevieria forum.

You are looking for a small series (maybe 5 or 6) posts, originating from Stush, about using alfalfa (and also potassium) with Sans to stimulate plant and root growth. There is a recent post where he talks about inserting alfalfa tablets into the soil itself, and older posts where he talks about using a watering mix with alfalfa and potassium added. I have followed these suggestions using the watering mix on Sans and some Gasterias, and have produced both plant growth and impressive root growth. The plants are bigger with more pups, and several require repotting because the roots are coming out of the drainage holes....a happy result.

Not at all, Stush -- I owe you gratitude for a GREAT tip. I haven't yet gotten to the point of using alfalfa tablets directly in the soil, but I probably will. Meanwhile, I am enjoying both root growth and "pup" growth through alfalfa and potassium in the watering process. Best tip ever!
