I found them sticking out of an alley dumpster while walking my dog. Haha. They might be the suckering growths of a much larger plant as some of the branches curve outward at their base like they originated from a central trunk. They have some roots of their own but not many. The leaves are kind of big. At first I suspected it was beauty berry but to me it looks quite different than the photos of beauty berry leaves that I see online. I can tell it's very fast growing. Some of the branches look like new spring growth at 5' tall with fresh leaves from top to bottom.
