Transfer or not?

I was at a garden show and bought a small hanging basket that seems to have 3 cayenne pepper plants in it. Since the pot is not overly large it seems to have peaked out at maybe a foot tall. There are a ton of peppers on it that are still green but the fruit is maybe 2-3 inches tall due to the pot size. Should I plant in the ground with the rest of my plants or because it is still loaded should I just wait until I harvest everything in a few weeks? I feel like I only have a fraction of its potential growth in the pot but I do not want to get greedy and lose everything from transplant shock on a very healthy plant. Thanks.
