Thanks for your question! As long as the porch is covered, this should be fine to use outdoors. The reason we don't recommend it outdoors is because it is not frost resistant. So, it can be used outdoors in an area that never reaches freezing temperatures. Also, water can absorb underneath the tile and freeze with a weather change, which can potentially cause the tile to crack. But, if the porch is covered and not exposed to large amounts of water, it should be fine to use in that installation.
