Rangpur limes...

For those of you who do not know much about this fruit, I wanted to share my experience. I just picked these to take the load off my tree and used them to make an avocado, lime (Rangpur), cilantro, and yogurt purée to put on black bean tacos. My daughter (who eats anything citrus) thought they would taste like a mandarin (because they look like one), but once she tasted a segment, realized her mistake. She did not eat it needless to say ;). They sure are pretty, and they peel easily, but are definitely limes! I ended up just removing the one or two seeds inside and dropping the whole thing into the vitamix. I used two of them to flavor my sauce and it is quite good. They do not taste exactly like limes, but have a nice flavor. I put the Easter egg in the pic for scale.
