I'm so curious about Pummelos. They sound so interesting...but I should really eat some before I start thinking about getting my own tree.

Pummelos are one of my favorite fruit. I had never heard of them until I went to Thailand many years ago. Now they're in most grocery stores, but not this variety.

Great looking tree, lucky! Be sure to check it over well for scale. I have 2 Tahitian Pummelo from OGW and one came with a bit of scale that I am still dealing with. I love Pummelo and I waited a long time hunting this variety down. Both trees have good strong roots and despite being on fd rootstock it is a steady grower. Nice tree! Congrats! I agree with Jinny, keep checking for scale just to be safe. Mine did not have any, but I’ve had scale issues with them in the past.

I don't know, but we'll find out. If I had to guess I'd say not as adaptable as a calamondin. I usually assume that trees that bear bigger fruit need more optimal conditions, but I really haven't based that assumption on anything.
