Plant mail - Tahitian Pummelo

From One Green World, a one gallon. Pretty impressed - it was in a nice loose mix of pine bark nuggets that fell away easily when I repotted. (pic is from before I repotted.) Super healthy roots and a lot of them - they easily spread to fill a 5gal rootmaker pot. Lots of new growth just appearing. I don't see any apparent signs of insects but sprayed with insecticidal soap just in case. The only blemish is a pretty crooked graft, but I set it in the new pot so that the scion main trunk is straighter. It's now chilling in the shade recovering from its repotting.

It's on flying dragon rootstock so hopefully it will grow up to be a nice compact tree that might even give fruit. I know pummelos aren't the most well-suited to container growing, but I love rare and unique varieties.
