Bella yes 1st time trying the internet didn’t know what to expect.Wow was I happy great size with many blooms...going back and ordering a couple mauvettes l know I won’t find them at my local garden nurseries

Thanks for the warning..I would never get close to it..it usually runs along the back of my yard but yesterday it shocked us and came up by the house..it was raining and we were inside..I was afraid to open the blinds and scare it so I took a pic thru the blinds..it was fun to see..my husband saw it chasing a squirrel..the squirrel escaped by running up a tree..

Ed, do they start more white and age to pink or the opposite? I find that color a bit surprising given the name. I expected it to be completely white like Annabelle, just small.

5 Years later @hyed how would you rate that "Wee White" hydrangea?

I am obviously not hyed. But I do own nine wee whites. I purchased seven of them back in 2019.

Seven of them are in full afternoon sun with irrigation every 3 days in the summer. They do fantastic here in Zone 6b.

Every year they get more and more blooms, I guess it helps that I neglect to prune them.

Also every year I noticed that before the blooms turn white, They are more and more pink as advertised by proven winners.

I bought two more this year and planted them in bright shade with a little bit of afternoon sun. So far they are thriving.

Here is a photo of the ones that are in full sun when they were at the "pink" stage before turning bright white.

I pulled all mine. Seemed to grow okay in MN, but I didn't like the overall look and the dirty pink before white.

@hl_60, I do appreciate your detailed feedback. Can you tell me how tall and wide are your established WW (those planted in 2019)?

I understand completely @pennlake. I did similarly for Invincibelle Spirit Hydrangeas when I bought a couple...probably the first year they were available. I couldnt take the dirty brownish pink of the aging blooms.

(Just curious...after a bloom transforms to white, does it remain 'reasonably' white until the end of the season?)
